Lately, I've had this kick, this high. Things have been happier and I feel like I'm smiling all day long. It's because of him :) I'm in love. It changes things. Love, I mean. It puts pieces together that you thought never should belong together. I can't wait to show him this. How happy he's made me :) He makes me view everything differently. He makes me feel like I have a chance to make my life what I want it to be. For this feeling? It's definitely worth the wait.

Life Changes in a blink of an eye. Yet, on average, we blink 23040 times each day and we could go without any change.
I came across a fantastic quote the other day:

Life is about trusting your feelings and taking chances, losing and finding happiness, appreciating the memories, learning from the past, and realizing people change

We all come to a time in life where we just don't know where to go next. Or perhaps, we do know where to go next but you take your time looking for any other option. There is only one thing to do: step forward. You can choose which way you step but let's not step back. Take that chance, open up to a new boundary. Face that fear or Forgive the ones you are determined not to. While we do this, we may lose happiness, but there is no doubt that happiness is greater and stronger once you face these chances.
I had a friend. A great friend. I can not begin to express my appreciation for the lessons I learned, the memories I gained and all the fun I had with them. But when we came to that point in life where we had to take our step, we stepped in different directions. I've often wanted to step back, take their hand and bring them with me but the changes we both endured are too great and asking for life to be different wouldn't be right.
Each time I blink, unrealized and so natural, I want to be able to move forward. With Love, With Patience, With Family, With Grace.

The thoughts you can only speak through photos. 

For me, words are the thing that get my thoughts out into the world. Status' on facebook, my blog, poetry, and songs I enjoy writing in the privacy of my own home. But for my brother, thoughts come out in a whole different process: Photography.

Weddings, Baby pictures, Senior portraits, Fun photography sessions, Family pictures, he can capture the memories, the thoughts, the moments with a photo, something people could never do with words.

He's amazing. He loves to have fun with it and he knows how to get serious photos. He works as an editor and it only increases his love and talent for the art.

Any other name for Love?
I found a place where I could feel comfortable being me. It feels so good. When you find a place where you're happy but feel comfortable to be sad, there is no need for sadness. When you find a place that will teach you more than you know even though that doesn't seem possible sometimes. When you find a place where there are people that understand you even when they can't tell you they know how you feel. That is when you know that you're in the right place. I'm there. It's quite a view.
Love is on the mind. A lot of people say that no one knows what love is. I agree. Although, i know that how I feel feels an awful lot like I'm in love. I think that love is a sense rather than a feeling. A sense of passion, seeing the inside rather than outside. I think it has more to it than what "those people" make it out to be.

The thing I miss the most: I loved looking in his eyes. They make me wonder what more I can learn about such a big world. But I know he can help me see it if I let him in. I'm finally ready. Two more weeks and i get to see the love of my life once again. Cheesy sounding, aye?

To Friends.
It takes a mere second to say the words "thank you", Yet we go through life forgetting to say thank you to the people who touch our lives daily. For years, I've had thank you letters on my desk, nothing written inside, just ready for when I want to show my appreciation. I have only used two of those letters, but I have never been more grateful towards the people in my life.
My best friend came into my life in Junior High. We will always be best friends. We helped each other through a part of our lives that are the hardest in this day and age. We supported each others standards and encouraged each other to use the strength that we so easily see.
Another good friend of mine is serving the Lord with every part of his being. We've always been almost too open with each other and he's always been the person I know will be there anytime. He changed my life in a way I never thought someone else could do. With my gratitude, I supported him in changing other peoples lives also.
Yet, My old and precious friend is about to be deployed. I already have so much to thank her for, but now, it's overdue. We are all so grateful towards the people that are serving our country, fighting for us. But when it's someone we know and love as the person they are, the gratitude grows and swells in my heart.
Also, my great friend, she makes me laugh when things aren't going too great. She makes me want to live my life to it's fullest and she encourages me to do so. She believes in me and tells me that I deserve to be happy and I deserve greatness in life. I can't be more grateful to her for what she has done.
I could go on and on. My group of friends from Junior High that loved me through the crazy stage, my friend who makes me laugh so hard I cry and cry so much I laugh, my friend who knows me too the end of my string and still loves me.
There is nothing more than showing someone you are grateful. And sometimes words is all it takes. So here's to friends, the best, the gratest, the dearest, the smartest. Thank you.

Everyday is a new beginning.
Whether it's a new beginning to get refreshed or to complete a long term goal. Some people think that new beginnings will bring happiness or luck and it might. As long as you have your mind centered on doing your part in that beginning.
The amazing thing about new beginnings is they never start poorly. We begin with fair attitude, determination and a plan. Where it goes from there is up to us.
